Ken Blodgett, CEO Ken has over 35
years’ experience in all phases of construction. He has worked on many
projects throughout the entire Western portion of the United States. His
experience ranges from estimating and bid work to on-site operations in many
fields of construction, including tilt-up projects, precast structures, and
interior fixturing and remodeling. Ken started framing
houses in 1958 and soon worked his way up to Project Superintendent
supervising construction of tilt-up buildings, office structures, schools,
and remodel jobs. He then moved on to start one of his own companies
specializing in concrete work. He continued to build on
his experience, as he became Vice President of a company in Western
Washington where he quickly grew the company by establishing excellent client
relationships. Ken has built the reputation of a "Can-Do" guy. As
Gaylon Goodwin of Sears, Roebuck
& Co.
would say, "BCA has always put the needs of the store, the customer
and the protection of our sales first." BCA has this reputation
because of Ken’s philosophy, "Those who think it can’t be
done, should get out of the way of those who are doing it." Greg Thompson, President Greg performs all management phases of the construction process including estimating, scheduling, contracts, material procurement, and resource management and project closeout. Greg's past experience involves extensive interior/exterior retail remodel work as well as new retail, commercial, multi-use and tenant improvement projects. Greg
holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, a Bachelor of Arts in
Construction Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the Bob Findlay, Executive Vice
President Bob has extensive
experience in construction as well. Like Ken, he has worked on many projects
throughout the Western portion of the United States. Bob’s experience
covers all aspects of construction, although he brings a great deal of strength
to BCA in estimating and bidding. Bob has partnered in
construction companies which required estimating, bidding, project
management, and management of on-site operations. Bob has been a conceptional
and hard bid estimator for large commercial projects ranging from $1,000,000
to $60,000,000.
